Viva Van Loock is a British documentary director, producer and writer based in New York.  Recent projects include “Tightrope: Americans Reaching For Hope” (PBS) a major new feature documentary based on the book by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn which had its world premiere at DOC NYC, “America Inside Out with Katie Couric” (National Geographic), History Channel’s “Superheroes Decoded” with Morgan Spurlock and “President Trump: Can He Win?” (Channel 4 - UK)

She has also worked with Academy Award® winner Alex Gibney on the feature documentary “Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine” which opened the 2015 San Francisco Film Festival and headlined SXSW Film Festival the same year.  Additional work includes the award-winning “Google and the World Brain” and “The Great Contemporary Art Bubble.”  

She also has extensive experience in documentary development and converting real life stories into fictional television series and feature films. Clients include Story Syndicate, See-Saw Films, The Othrs, Show of Force, Part 2 Pictures and Radical Media.
